I know that this can be sold as me trying to silence the conversation, but I really don't want to spend the next year debunking insane twitter conspiracy nonsense, so can there be some level of moderation of what's allowed to remain up in the political topics?

Evilthing and Dry Ice are posting twitter threads and youtube thumbnails from random twitter users that aren't actually useful in documenting the Sweet Baby controversy, because they include wild conspiratorial claims with zero evidence.

I don't think we should allow the documentation to be flooded with things of such low quality.

As proof several of the images are false, Evil and Dry Ice have both posted images claiming that youtube is censoring youtubers that talk out about Sweet Baby.

In response I uploaded images of me plugging videos listed in those images into a website that lets you check for demonetization status of videos, and their claims were disproven when they came out monetized

I want to be clear, I am not trying to get opposing viewpoints shut down. I simply want the images posted to have some degree of truthfulness in their content, as if we allow complete lies to be uploaded un addressed the documentation of the controversy will be heavily damaged and people who view the page in the future will get false impressions on the events

Comments are not documentation. They serve no purpose on KYM beyond a silly distraction for users. As I and other mods have mentioned previously, it is not against the rules to be wrong. An argument in the comments is free engagement metrics until someone breaks the rules. You are not people, you are ad revenue.

Plus every time we try someone accuses the mods of being an evil goy/lib/rightoid/pol/WEF/cuck/lgbt cabal which punishes wrongthink with death. It isn't happening.

EDIT: In regards to image/video galleries, documenting astroturfing and the spread of misinformation is… still documentation. We try our best to remove uploads that make no sense whatsoever, mostly the schizoposts and insane conspiracy rambling video essays, but even the shittiest of content is "relevant".

I'm not talking about comments though, I'm talking about the image gallery
