Who's StrawberryTabby? The Controversial Twitch Streamer Who's Been Banned For Inventing 'New Metas' Explained

Streamer StrawberryTabby has changed the world of Twitch over the past few months. Now, she's banned.

The controversial influencer originally made headlines when a wave of topless streaming hit the internet at the end of last year. The "new meta," pioneered by her, and another girl named Morgpie, broke the internet, and since then, interest in StrawberryTabby has skyrocketed.

So, who is StrawberryTabby? Where's she from? What's her real name and why was she recently banned? Let's explain.

Who Is StrawberryTabby?

StrawberryTabby's real name is Tabitha and she used to go by Tabitha Lookofsky on socials. According to posts on her Instagram from 2022, she's now 21 years old in 2024. Tabitha is based in Florida. Some news outlets say she's originally from New Jersey.

What's StrawberryTabby's 'New Meta?'

StrawberryTabby gained mainstream attention across social media platforms when she pioneered the so-called "topless meta" on Twitch back in December 2023. In the lewd streams, StrawberryTabby's seemingly not wearing a shirt, however, her bottom chest is just barely cropped off-camera.

Of course, men and women who are into that sort of thing couldn't help but join her topless livestreams. In turn, many creators (like one named Morgpie) added to the content, eventually inspiring Twitch to add a new law to its code that allowed "artistic nudity."

StrawberryTabby gained predominant traction when she did a topless stream with IShowSpeed.

Why Was StrawberryTabby Banned On Twitch?

StrawberryTabby was recently banned on Twitch because of a Valorant stream in which she'd set up an extra HD camera to record her behind. Of note, StrawberryTabby was wearing a skimpy bikini that barely covered anything back there.

As of March 19th, StrawberryTabby is back to streaming because it was only a one-week-long ban. So, that's good news for any fans of hers and bad news for the rest of the internet, subjected to her inventive ways that make hot tub streams look like light work.
